The portable TQ transmission densitometer measures densities of film and accurately checks image quality for graphic arts, photographic, x-ray, and microfilm applications. The lightweight, battery-operated densitometer measures film density as high as 6.00D with an high degree of accuracy and precision. It measures processed control wedges produced by a sensitometer.

The Wejex S Sensitometer exposes a test pattern on film or paper with a known, repeatable, electronically controlled light source. The 21-step, 0.15D/step wedges are exposed in 2 1/2 seconds. Processors are checked periodically with the Wejex to maintain consistency with a standard.
